Life with a dog: Frida playing with basset Azra on the beach // Kostrena

This is Azra, an adorable young basset hound we met on a dog beach in Kostrena a few days ago. The weather was pretty shitty and extremely windy (this outfit post was shot on the same afternoon so you get the picture) and we pretty much had the place all to ourselves.
I don't think I've ever mentioned it but when it comes to playing with other dogs, our queen Frida isn't exactly a social butterfly. She prefers her own company or other dog owners (because of the cookies, duh!) and moments like these are so incredibly rare with her so I had to share them with you.

Style: Summer uniform

So here it is, one of my latest purchases - a cute little H&M shirt I fell in love with the moment I saw it in the store before travelling to Sibenik a few weeks ago. It also comes in blue/white color combination but you know how much I love red so the other one didn't stand a chance. And before you say anything, yes it has that countryside vibe, all I'm missing is the hat, but I actually think that's one of the reason why I fell for it. That and the unevitable comparison to the legendary mediterranean tablecloth. Bring it on, I'm a seaside girl.

What are you most passionate about? // In memoriam Bill Cunningham

'I go out every day. When I get depressed at the office, I go out, and as soon as I’m on the street and see people, I feel better. But I never go out with a preconceived idea. I let the street speak to me.' - Bill Cunningham

Summertime in Rijeka: Instagram diary

Lately I've been spending so much time on the beach so it's no surprise that seaside is pretty much all I talk and think about these days. Obviously, it's mostly due to the fact that summer is in full swing, with its boiling hot temperatures and lack of normal air or wind which makes staying in an apartment a pretty crazy thing to do.

Love letter to my legendary Mango jeans

Ages ago I bought a small book focused on the world's greatest love stories throughout the history, called 'Love letters of great men' and I've read it numerous times, falling for it more and more with each new letter in combination with some incredibly powerful lines and emotions.

As I was going through my closet the other day, spending time rearranging things, deciding which items are keepers and which ones should definitely find other homes, I got so emotional around some of them and I simply realised that my version of greatest love stories would absolutely be dedicated to my beloved clothes. Because, let's be real - I truly love them.

I think this one's from 2013, when these jeans still looked mostly like themselves.

Style: Irresistible Me hair accessories

When it comes to hair, I like to keep things very simple.
I pretty much approach it with the 'I woke up like this' state of mind which means I hardly ever straighten it, or curl it or try to create some awesome hairstyle I've seen on someone else. No, my hair is just like my mind - on the beach during the entire year and luckily it's wavy and messy enough that it takes me literally a second to create a relaxed hairstyle from it.

Style: Denim shirt on a rainy afternoon

Remember the day when I wrote about that one thing I miss from my fashion blogging days
Well, yesterday morning I woke up thinking how I want to bring style posts back from the dead, because I really miss documenting the clothes I wear. It's all about cherishing memories and telling stories, preserving certain moments, moods and state of mind. I have always loved telling some stories through my clothes and this time I have absolutely no intention to stop.

So let's go. Once more with a feeling.

Shooting film: Lomography color negative 400 - favourite moments

From Šibenik to Rijeka, here are some of my favourite analogue snaps I took along the way. I still have to scan one more roll of film that has a part of this little adventure on it (15 pictures I think) and I'm looking forward to showing it to you some time soon.

Ever since we got back the weather has been absolutely terrible, with loads of rain and thunderstorms (Frida hates it even more than I do) and when I look at these bright pictures all I can feel is nostalgia - sunny days, please come back, we need you so much! I really don't want to have a rainy and shitty summer, especially after incredibly exhausting and moody winter. Fingers crossed.

Visit Šibenik: An iPhone Photo Diary

Yesterday morning I wrote on Instagram: 'Not sure do I miss it already but I sure as hell miss the view.'

So yeah, we've returned to Rijeka, our Clio packed with things (I don't even how how we always manage to do it no matter where we go), us and Frida exhausted but feeling super happy about the entire little vacation. It was short, sweet and I brought back loads of lovely memories with me, some of which I'm gonna share with you today.
