Now, I've made a cardinal mistake of turning on Mamma Mia! soundtrack for this post which took all of my concentration away and made writing almost impossible 'lay alllll your loooove on meeee...' but I'll try and do my best. After all, it's the weekend and we can all relax a bit. A lot. Sometimes I wonder, while I 'perform and sing' while working on my laptop, what would happen if somehow my webcam turns on and enables everyone to see how I'm making an idiot out of myself. 'suuuper trouuuper lights are gonna find meeee...'
In terms of personal style, May started in a colorful way, especially after I received this awesome dress from Sheinside which I hope I'll soon be able to wear without the addition of leggings. Surprisingly, the month ended with me spending the days in monochromatic outfits and wearing basic oversized pieces paired with simple jewelry. I don't have any snaps of those because I really didn't have time to share them on the blog but you'll probably see more of these kinds of looks in the upcoming weeks. And Startas sneakers. I've bought almost half of the new collection, it's insane, yes I'm fully aware of that.
I decided to photograph Rijeka as much as I can and create a sort of a city diary out of those pictures because I won't be living here forever but so far the town has proven itself to be a great place to live and study in and I would love to document it in the best way that I can, especially now when the weather is finally lovely. 'we've done it all beforeee and now we're back to get some mooore...'
I started a new category of the Forever, your teddy bear project and it's called 'Toys in cars' because almost every car in Rijeka has some kind of a toy inside, it's just too adorable and I had to make it a part of a project. Unfortunately, due to being absent for over a week because of filming a documentary I didn't have time to post more pictures up on its blog and Facebook, but will get back on track now that I'm reunited with my laptop.
'sooo when you're near me darling can't you hear me S.O.S...' The biggest blogging lesson learned was that I missed writing so much so I started a series of 'Dear diary' posts and can't wait to see where they'll take me in the future. If nothing, it's always fun to arrange the items for the cover photo for the post.
Almost monochrome, see?
P.S. I've been living in these jeans for the past two weeks and I'm in a desperate need for a new pair.
And for the end, a small detail from my grandparents countryside estate and a reminder of one lovely and funny afternoon with lots of cherries on top. I'm so sad that this year I'll miss out the fun of picking cherries from all the trees they have and eat them until my stomach hurts. Oh well, more for my granny and cousins, cherries definitely won't go to waste.
'here's to us, one more toast and then we'll pay the bill,
deep inside both of us could feel the autumn chill...'
