Remember the day when I wrote about that one thing I miss from my fashion blogging days?
Well, yesterday morning I woke up thinking how I want to bring style posts back from the dead, because I really miss documenting the clothes I wear. It's all about cherishing memories and telling stories, preserving certain moments, moods and state of mind. I have always loved telling some stories through my clothes and this time I have absolutely no intention to stop.
So let's go. Once more with a feeling.
Since the last time we talked about style here on the blog not many things have changed. Except I pretty much stopped wearing skinny jeans because I hated working in them - they're just too tight and I finally decided to say goodbye for some time.
I didn't buy many new items mostly because I didn't like anything I saw in stores, plus I promised myself that I'm gonna stop spending loads of money on clothes because I tend to hoard it and not wear it and also because I always end up sticking to some old favourites, like the ones on these photos. And I really like it that way.
I bought this denim shirt while I was still studying for my BA degree in Zagreb. It's from Miss Selfridge and the older it gets, the better it looks (just like my leather jacket). And you can't say no to these kinds of items, right? ASOS leggings are by far my favourite leggings ever and I've also had them for years. That being said, I have absolutely no idea what I'm gonna do when they start falling apart because I haven't managed to find another pair I love like these.
What else can be seen in this look?
Mango t-shirt (old, beaten up but I adore it)
Accessorize bag (I think I bought it two summers ago and it's definitely the cutest little bag I own)
Ray-Ban sunglasses (my favourite ones for cloudy weather)
And Vans sneakers I bought a few months ago and they are the comfiest sneakers ever (I also want this model in all available colours, even pink). I don't know have I ever mentioned it, but I prefer Vans over Converse (even though I also wear them, have been since high school) because they are so much more comfortable and I prefer the design. Vans knows me so well.
Oh and did I mention that we took these photos on a gloriously windy afternoon on a dog beach in Kostrena? I was actually scared of taking some sea snaps with my iPhone because at times it felt like the wind is gonna blow it away from my hands and that would be...gosh, I don't even want to think about it.
Hope you've had a lovely weekend (did you do something fun?) and cheers to a start of the new week - mine will bring me unwanted exams and uni work but I'm sure ice cream on a daily basis is gonna help me go through it all with a smile on my face.
