BY THE SEA - NEW 'ONE MINUTE DIARY VIDEO'

Cloudy, rainy, windy.
These words pretty much sum up the entire week and the lousy weather we've been having recently. But, as we all know so well, seaside is stunning at all times so let's drink to that while watching the  new chapter of the ONE MINUTE DAIRY series. Click HERE for the video and also, please do let me know if there's anything you'd like me to film a video about (Forever, your teddy bear playlist will also come to the channel very soon) because I'm always open to new suggestions.

How to write a blog you'll love

Because if you love it and are proud of the work you're doing, others will recognize it too!

Over the last couple of years I've read probably hundreds of (mostly pointless) articles about blogging, growing your community and how to make that pretty blog of yours successful. And since I've been a part of the blogosphere for four years now and have learned a lot of things about this amazing ever expanding virtual universe but also have made several huge content changes I decided to share a few advices and stories from personal experiences that can maybe help out to someone who's currently stuck in a rut or feeling a bit down about their own blogging universe.

Book club: Haruki Murakami - After dark

'Eyes mark the shape of the city.'

Murakami has been one of my favourite authors for almost ten years now. I discovered him while I was studying at the Academy in Zagreb and up until then I was mostly interested in classic literature (still my favourite), with some exceptions and a few guilty pleasures. I was instantly drawn to his writing style and completely weird / crazy / surreal storylines and characters. Obviously, I was hooked from the very beginning.

Tulips in Opatija - New 'One minute diary' video

Oh my, I can't believe the last time I posted a video on my Youtube channel was back in February. That's just so wrong. All this time I tried to fight it and break the silence but I simply didn't have any free time and couldn't organize my day in a different way in order to make it all work.

365 Days of Analogue - Week 1

*drumroll*
And here we go! Lights, camera, action!
A few days ago I had my first roll of 365 Days of Analogue project scanned and, as always when working with film, the excitement to see the photos developed has been beyond describeable. Once again I realized how time flies by incredibly fast because today already marks the day 24 of the project and yet I feel like it was only yesterday that I decided to start this journey once again. Once more with a feeling. How crazy is that?

Shooting with expired film - Kodak Gold 100

Last week I posted the first part of this expired story (check it here) shot with my dear Kodak Gold 100 so today it's time to show you the last set of photos and wrap it up. This part of the film roll has been shot during rainy and moody days here in Rijeka (we've had quite a lot of those this year) because when you can't escape the shitty weather, you can embrace it and try to enjoy it. Happy Friday, guys, hope it's been a great week and wishing you an even better weekend! Who's going to the beach? Meee, meee!

An afternoon by the beach // Costabella, Rijeka

This weekend I celebrated my big 28th birthday surrounded with amazing people and friends while also shooting a bunch of new portraits for the Forever, your teddy bear project. I pretty much decided to ignore my iPhone and the online world for the entire weekend in order to recharge, enjoy life and think about some things (nothing too serious, don't worry). Since Saturday weather was too shitty to handle, on Sunday Mario, Frida and I went to one of our favourite places in Rijeka - Costabella to relax by the sea (which is my favourite thing in the whole world) and just do nothing.

A few snaps from the birthday

How to find inspiration when you're feeling drained?

We've all been there. Too many times.
Staring at a blank page for hours knowing you have to start writing, but somehow you just can't. Or remember those days when you wake up in the morning and already know that nothing creative or smart's gonna happen in the next 24 hours?

Shooting with expired film: Kodak Gold 100

I was super excited to see how this roll of film is gonna turn out because I've never shot with expired film before. Seriously, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from it - weird colours, darkness, scratches or pretty much nothing at all. And yaaay, the result was more than amazing, I'm in love! My dad gave me bunch of expired films, mostly 120mm and among them there was only one 35mm so I decided to test that one first since I'm constantly shooting with my Nikon F3. I shot during rainy and first sunny days so I decided to split this post in two chapters in order to show you my favourite photos from that expired adventure. And now I want more!

Cheers to April!

March was lazy.
Boring.
Rainy.
Grey.
Disappointing.

But then Spring officially came and things started to look up again.
