August Posts Roundup

Can you hear it? That's autumn, slowly approaching us with its shorter days, a bit colder weather, some rainy mornings and teatime glory.

As always, I'm looking forward to it because every change in seasons makes me excited - for new outfit choices, different food and pastry, holidays, birthdays, and different colours of the nature around me.

Blog was a little more silent than usual during August, not because I was lazy but the truth is I needed some time for myself. Time to think about life, career and the inevitable changes that are about to happen once I finally say goodbye to the student life (can't wait!!). But before I get all serious (right!), let's go back in time to see which ten posts you enjoyed reading the most through the last 31 days (also known as the only time in month when I go through my Analytics profile).

THINGS I'VE LEARNED FROM 5 YEARS OF BLOGGING

When you're so terrible at math that you manage to mess up your blog's age.

Weekly Notes: Director's Cut

Past few weeks have been a crazy ride, but a really good one.

I've been writing constantly, but none of it has made it to the blog yet...it's just not ready. My notebooks in all colours and sizes are pretty much everywhere in the apartment, each of them focused on a certain theme or category...sounds like a mess but it most definitely isn't. At least not for me, it works like a charm.

Shop My Prints at Society6

So a few days ago I joined Society6, a place where you can sell your artwork (in my case, photographs) in many different forms - from tote bags, pillows, wall clocks to standard art prints in various sizes and framed prints as well.

Love Letter To My Blog

I always knew blogging was gonna be my thing.

Seriously, from day one, when I was still a kid in high school who spent her days writing, reading and daydreaming. I guess I have no one but my diaries to blame so when sharing your ideas, inspirations, work and hopes became possible online, I jumped on that bandwagon without much thinking and never regretted it.

Lately on Instagram

You know how they say that the best camera is the one you have with you? Well, there's so much truth in those words and that's also one of the reasons why at times I wander around only in the company of my beloved pink iPhone.
I love the freedom it gives me and it serves as a perfect little break from my DSLR, which is something I really crave from time to time, especially during hot summer days.

Things I've Learned From 4 Years of Blogging

Wow guys, it's been four years already. Four crazy years. Can you believe it? I sure cannot.
Countless posts, ideas, photographs, stories, people, cities and adventures.
And so much love from day one.

But today we're not here to talk about hearts, unicorns and glitter. Even though I've been living and breathing this blog for the last four years, I've been present in blogosphere for around ten years (I first mentioned it a few months ago when I wrote about blogging reality most people know nothing about), which means that I've experienced first hand all the changes that have happened in the last decade (God, I sound so old). And today I'm sharing them with you, because sharing is caring so let's get going.

July Posts Roundup

Yesterday it hit me: next Monday my blog turns five years old!

I'm talking about five years of insane dedication, love and constant learning process along with so many changes that have happened in between. And believe me when I say this: I couldn't be more proud.
But before I get way too emotional in front of everyone, let's hit the pause button and go back in time for a few weeks to see which ten posts you enjoyed the most in July.

Smile, STYLE, Sparkle: Katarina

Whenever my little sister makes an apperance on the blog, the crowd goes wild and this time it was no exception. I chose her to be the first individual shot for my newest style category and judging from the reactions, it seems like I made the right decision.

Editor's Letter: August

And so it begins, the last real summery month, August, that should be filled with swimming, beach time, ice- cream, great books and above all relaxation and recharging batteries for the upcoming long and moody winter.
While 'everyone' is currently somewhere around Santorini, Maldives, Tulum or Cuba according to the social media, in the reality of normal life and even blogosphere most of us are stuck in the city, in concrete hell, trying to cope with sky high temperatures.
