Outfit post: Slobodan dan i kavica u gradu

5.50 ujutro
Fluffy Zara jakna. Nova kapica. Malo ruža, čisto da nisam kompletan zombi.

Danas ću napisati novi post.
Hoću. Želim. Moram.
I to na hrvatskom.
Jer nekim čudom želim.

The cutest Zara teddy bear coat to keep you warm

It's so good to be back.

I feel like I should write something special and smart after such a long break (3 months equals forever in the blogosphere) but somehow I just can't seem to find the right words. Or maybe I don't need them.

Geography of Tenderness - Episode 01: Branka & Tresirep

Behind the scenes of 'Geography of Tenderness'

A few days ago I talked about the evolution of our 'GEOGRAPHY OF TENDERNESS' documentary series because I wanted to share a bit of its background so you can learn more about the project and today I've decided to share a little behind the scenes from one of the episodes so you can check out the vibe of the story before it hits my Youtube channel in a few weeks - maybe even days!

Discover Your Inner Wanderer with Loops & Beads

Ever since I was a little girl I strongly knew I wanted to work for myself when I grow up. I looked up to my dad who always kept running from one movie set to another, constantly on the road and always bringing home with him a bunch of amazing stories from all these adventures. But I had no desire to be a cameraman, this little girl wanted to be a director and a writer.

Flash forward to the present day and along with making those two dreams come true, I also added a two 'bonuses' - a blogger (I love that word and will never be ashamed of it) and a photographer. Why I'm mentioning this, you may ask?

Birthday Special - 29 things I've learned in these crazy 29 years

Oh boy, I guess I'm not a little girl anymore.
Being 29 feels kinda weird and much older than I can identify with but truth be told - the only moment I actually thought about it was a few seconds ago, when I started composing this sentence.

Style Diary: Exploring Krka National Park

It was one of those first warm mornings after a long period of winter that make you think 'yesss, spring is coming!' and all of a sudden you feel super excited to get dressed again, even if we're only talking about easy, casual and comfy outfit that's perfect for a long and wonderful day in nature spent with the people I love the most.

Style Diary: Graphic Tee x Skinny Jeans in Zadar

There's something about waking up in a different city, hearing noise and sounds that seem so unfamiliar but make you feel extremely excited for the new 24 hours of adventure right in front of you.

Zadar Diary, part two

After years and years of visiting ZADAR solely for work purposes (directing promotional films for tourist board and the University, directing a documentary film about the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun etc.), this time I had the city all to myself and that sense of freedom enabled me to enjoy all the places I love the most to the max.

Style Diary: Paklenica National Park

Upon our arrival in ZADAR, one of the things we decided to do while we were staying there was to drive somewhere outside of the city because both of us can't stay in one place for a long time (more than two days to be precise haha) plus we love to explore everything in our surroundings. I immediatelly suggested PAKLENICA NATIONAL PARK because the last time I visited it was probably 15 years ago (shame on me) and yet I adore spending time in nature. The plan was made within minutes.

Zadar Diary

A week filled with love, laughter, photography, wandering around places in town I love the most, those weird but insanely enhanting sounds of the sea organ, wonderful sunsets and colours of the sky...welcome to ZADAR, a place that's so incredibly dear to my heart.

Style Diary: Golden Hour in Zadar

Alfred Hitchcock once said that ZADAR has the best sunsets in the world.
Although I don't agree with the filmmaking legend because every sunset is different and there are so many beyond amazing places around the globe, Zadar holds a very special place in my heart and I always love coming back to it.

One Outfit Post That Changed Everything

My first thought this morning was not to publish these photos.

I made a first selection then started to cut down more and more photos from it until I was left with ten, which is the usual number (sometimes less, never more) of photos per style post. But something felt off the entire time. I looked at them and something about the whole mood didn't suit me at all.

What do to when words fail you

For the past couple of days I have been fighting this beast called no-matter-what-I-do-I-simply-can't-write-a-decent-post. It's been killing the hell out of me and the worst thing is - I have no issues with inspiration and motivation, there's plenty of it in this little head of mine.

But when I sit in front of the laptop, words fail to come out.
Sounds familiar?

How I Fell in Love with Blogging

Most of the time I completely suck at remembering things - I always tend to say that my brain is insanely selective when it comes to what's gonna stay and what's gonna go - but one thing I remember like it had happened yesterday was the second I decided to start blogging, which is without a doubt one of my best decisions ever.

The Great Escape from Malesnica to Centre (Zagreb)

There's one quote I'm quite fond of and it goes like this:
'When something goes wrong in your life, just scream - PLOT TWIST! - and move on.'

Behind the Scenes of BONTON, part two

Two weeks ago I finally started sharing BTS of my beloved Bonton (in case you've missed the first part, here's the link) and today we're continuing the story in the same tone.

So happy new week, my dear friends and let's get the party started!

Behind The Scenes of BONTON, part one

If I had to name one thing I wanted to tell you all about ever since its very beginning, it would be filming of BONTON, the tv series I directed and have been constantly working on for the past couple of months...but at that time I simply couldn't, not until the first episode was aired. And I was so excited to let you in, show you parts of the set, introduce you to the crew...because this is my favourite project so far and I wanted to share everything with you guys.

And today I will, finally, as promised.
So let's dive in.

No Resolutions, Just Happiness

Let me tell you something, my dear friends - life is pretty surreal at the moment.

2017 started in the most amazing way for me and I can't even begin to describe how grateful and lucky I feel. Each time I look at myself in the bathroom mirror I see this happy girl looking back at me and after not having her around for many, many years it feels so amazing to be back.

Last day of 2016

* Fall in love with moments*

I woke up on December 31st with insane desire to photograph again, after I haven't had any time to do so over the last couple of months. My Canon went everywhere with me but it stayed in its bag the whole time. Oh well, that's what life on set looks like - no time for anything other than the story you're directing.

But that morning I knew what needed to be done.
How I wanted to say goodbye to this roller coaster of the year.
So I picked up a lonely camera and decided to take shots of some special little moments throughout the day.
This is it.
