* Fall in love with moments*
I woke up on December 31st with insane desire to photograph again, after I haven't had any time to do so over the last couple of months. My Canon went everywhere with me but it stayed in its bag the whole time. Oh well, that's what life on set looks like - no time for anything other than the story you're directing.
But that morning I knew what needed to be done.
How I wanted to say goodbye to this roller coaster of the year.
So I picked up a lonely camera and decided to take shots of some special little moments throughout the day.
This is it.
Sibenik was so quiet, like the city streets knew that some sort of a new beginning was approaching. My best friend Branka and I decided to take a long walk and to enjoy the atmosphere of the last hours of 2016.
We didn't talk about the past, we didn't mention anything bad that has happened and while some band was playing a terrible cover of my beloved Cohen's Hallelujah, the two of us talked about the future. About wishes, hopes, dreams and plans. And seeing one of my closest people ever so happy and hopeful, I couldn't have felt anything other than pure happiness itself.
After one obligatory outfit snap and too many selfies, we went on an endless quest for my favourite champagne but unfortunately couldn't find it ANYWHERE so we bought a bottle of Coke instead. And then came that time of a day when the first episode of my BONTON tv series was hitting the air so we headed back to my place to watch it and to raise a few glasses to celebrate the official start of the project I deeply love and care about.
You can find first two episodes on HRTi and new ones will be added daily (unfortunately there are no english subtitles) so you can check them out and let me know which one is your favourite :)
