Discover Your Inner Wanderer with Loops & Beads

Ever since I was a little girl I strongly knew I wanted to work for myself when I grow up. I looked up to my dad who always kept running from one movie set to another, constantly on the road and always bringing home with him a bunch of amazing stories from all these adventures. But I had no desire to be a cameraman, this little girl wanted to be a director and a writer.

Flash forward to the present day and along with making those two dreams come true, I also added a two 'bonuses' - a blogger (I love that word and will never be ashamed of it) and a photographer. Why I'm mentioning this, you may ask?

Well, it's quite simple.

When you start living the freelance life there's one thing you learn to appreciate and cherish a lot more than you did before - other creatives who work incredibly hard to turn their dreams into a reality.

And that's why I'm always super excited when I discover a new brand with soul and integrity, where everything is unique and handcrafted, where its owners enjoy communicating with their audience and where you're never treated like a number but a real person with feelings and wishes instead. #supportthemakers

One of those brands is LOOPS and BEADS and today I'll tell you why every free spirit, adventurer, traveller, wanderer and most importantly - life lover should own at least one of their bracelets.

Let me just start by saying that these artisan bracelets have always been my favourite, ever since I was that same little girl from the beginning of the story who spent her summers running around Hvar and Dubrovnik and would always make mum and dad or grandma and grandpa buy her a few handmade bracelets.

The greatest moment regarding them always has been and always will be the very second when you put the bracelet around your wrist, then tighten it and decide you won't take it off until it rips apart. And that two of you together are gonna create some freaking amazing memories.

I can't explain why, but I adore that feeling.

When I first discovered Loops and Beads on Instagram and checked out their website to learn more about the brand and its owners, Reelika and Matthias, I realised we had many things in common, most important ones being:

* living in the present moment and putting emphasis on little things
* staying true to who we are and being grateful for everything we have + never taking anything for granted
* doing everything with passion, following our hearts and respecting the nature

Since at that time I had already started working on the idea of regularly featuring smaller brands I fall in love with that have amazing people and vibe behind the name, it didn't take me long to write and send a mail to Reelika because I really wanted to share Loops and Beads with you guys.

They're based in Switzerland, a country filled with beautiful nature and that mood is present in every single piece the brand creates. And here comes one of the best parts of blogging as well - even though I've never been to Switzerland, thanks to this little virtual corner I can now carry a part of it with me everywhere I go.

I immediatelly loved their WATER COLLECTION which doesn't come as a surprise to everyone who knows how attached to the seaside I am and everything that has the ability to remind me of that state of mind is love at first sight.

That's how I decided to choose this beautiful PB Ride The Wave bracelet but I also wanted another one that brings out a bit different kind of mood so I went for this red beauty called Infinity Red Mermaid from the FLOWER COLLECTION and together they pair perfectly.

Oh and I forgot to mention one last detail - my boyfriend absolutely adores these two of mine (the blue one is his favourite) and the very second I showed them to him, he made me go to Loops and Beads website so he could check out the entire selection and see which ones he would love to have.

Since we made a pact that he doesn't have to read my lovely blog (even though he takes all of the outfit shots) because he has me by his side and trust me - I talk about this blog A LOT - so I felt like it would be totally weird to make him read my fashion stories. But that's actually an awesome thing because I can tell you guys some little 'secrets' and he'll never know (insert angel face). And one of those secrets is that I'm gonna get him one of those bracelets he likes as a surprise.

But I'm also getting myself another one (or two) from their Water collection because that restless mediterranean spirit in me can't resist it and summer wanderings are slowly approaching.

And I'm sure they ship to Peru as well plus I also think that the shipping is free so hurry up and get yourself some new pretty bracelets! :) Haha I am the same, every time I go somewhere I tend to buy a new bracelet or necklace - nothing too fancy or pricey but something local and unique, that's a little tradition I've been keeping for years! :) Hope you've had a great day! xx
